Hi,
I was wondering if anybody has a teardown manual for a 2005 Carrier 19XR Chiller.
Any help would be appreciated on this.

Thanks for the reply Frank.
I was actually after the tear down Manual for the compressor. I have done a few tear downs in my time so having the correct torque settings and tolerances is crucial. Compressor model: 02XR587ENH54

I can't find that model under any searches, even had a looksee on here (http://nationalcompressor.thomasnet.com/keyword?&plpver=1001&key=all&keycateg=&keyprod=&SchType=2&keyword=02XR587ENH54%20)
Even under the Carrier brand, the number is not recognised. Sorry :(

Frank, again thanks for your reply
No you will not find that manual on any of the Carrier websites, its an internal document. Was hoping someone out there has one......

There is no stop major for the 19XR that I know of. It is the same as doing the 19XL with a few minor changes. Impeller clearences and thrust setup are extremely important.

Thanks your advice,
We did have a teardown manal on the last one that I re-built a few years ago so am assuming they are out there. You are dead right in saying that the impellor clearances and thrust setup is extremely important. Its a fairly big piece of kit so one wrong move may spell disaster! Appealing to anyone out there.....
Hi Shakey
There is no such beast as a tear down manual for the 19XR
The closest is a traning manual for 19XL
One of the reasons for Failure of an impeller is the retaining bolt holding the impeller eithr comes loose of fractures through excessive surge
hopes this helps

Hi, do you have a copy of the training manual for the 19xl?
