View Full Version : Scotsman ice machine DCE33
Hello Everyone - We have a brand new scotsman, model DCE33. It is making ice just fine, harvesting fine, but all the ice in the bottom of the bin melts before the next set is harvested (about 20 minutes). I tried putting in ice from the freezer to see if it just needed to get cold in the bin, but all that ice melted too. There is no drippage from the curtain into the bin. Any ideas before I return the machine? Thanks!

Hi
Pour some water in the bin and make sure its draining away,if not check for blockages also make sure the machine is level.

20 mins sounds about right for making the ice. The bin must be letting heat in.
It's not a very good one according to these reviews:
