Haven't had a blocked drier for months and had two this week! Took some pics just in case you are bored and have nothing better to do:D System is on R22, no doubt someone would be able to work out the pressure drop from the temperatures:confused:

on about all things blocked, ive had a number of fujitsu units R22 and R407C with blocked internal liquid line dries at the condenser,i think fujistu call them strainer valves, there only 3/8 in size and 4" long but boy do they cause some pain, went to a call last week end,the compresser pulling a vac and on opening the unit i found more line taps in there than any good HRP stock (other wholesalers are available) so someone was having "fun" before me

I suppose on the older systems there is always the potential for blockages depending on who has done what to it over time.
A drier can only absorb so much moisture and contaminents so if earlier works have been done it can happen.
