Hi All, Found a system today to which the outdoor unit constantly runs, fan included even when you switch the indoor unit off with the remote control???
Indoor unit model RSW-127c
Outdoor Unit model ROW-127c
Ok. Power to system- from 3pin plug to indoor unit, from indoor to outdoor, no ioslators.
Switch plug on- outdoor unit immediatly starts up- fan and compressor even though you have not turned the indoor unit on?
Switch the indoor unit on with remote everything works fine, plenty of gas, runs at 55 psi suction side.
Switch the indoor off with remote, outdoor unit continues to run, compressor switching on and off trying to circulate gas getting nowhere, result start of iceberg forming around pipe work.
Question_ with indoor off why is the power going to the outdoor unit making it run when it shouldn't be ????? Comms?? Thermistors??
Any ideas?
