Hi

I wonder if anyone can help me with some advice.

I recently took over the position of Service Manger with our company. We supply heating and cooling equipment primarily to the plastic moulding industry. We supply water recirculation chillers for cooling applications in a wide variety of applications also.

Up until now we have had to sub-contact out any work which involved the chilled equipment to local engineers. I want to bring this work in house as I am finding more and more work is being sent out.

I need to source a training course, ideally local ‘ish to Northamptonshire, or a company that will come to our premises. The intention would be for 4 of us to do a suitable course.

So I guess my questions are:

What course would be best suited to us?
Are there any specific regulations we would need to consider?
Any sources for equipment suppliers?

Many thanks

Dave,
Give Ellis training a call (01707 879879).
They will tailor courses for your requirements and also hold them at your premises.

(I'm sure there are others but these are the only people I got experience of)

Just be aware that no course will make you a fully fledged Chiller engineer, that takes commitment and several years of ongoing training as an apprentice.
