What is REP Power

I always see one point as REP power. What does that represent & who assigns this no?

It's when another member thinks you're a nice guy and gives you a pat on the back for a helpful post.

You can assign one by clicking the small weighing scales in the top right corner of the post.

Bernard, if you go into your User CP you should see a section headed, Latest Reputation Received.

Also of course people can boost their reputation by using the Search facility at times and coming across threads like this.....
