I have been thinking about making a frankenstein cascade system for no reason.
But I am wondering what pressure is required to condense methane at an ambient temp of 70-80f.
Also if anyone knows where to get a thermometer that goes below -100f within a reasonable price range I would be very greatful!

Thanks for any information :)

Sorry, nobody can help you here.
Critical conditions for R50 are -82ºC and 46bar!!
In practice R50 is only usefull at temperature below -120ºC and that is very specialized cryogene technique.

Yeah I have seen the critical info, still be nice to know actual condensing pressure.I dont think the critical pressure really has anything to do with condensing pressure.
I am curious why the critical temp is so low.I am not too suavy with these refrigerant charts :)
By the way, if I did make this system it would definately be cascade.
