DAMMIT! Why do you Brits get all the realy nice A/Cs!

Do you know of any Canadian supliers of just say a 4.9Kw(18,000BTU) Indoor fan coil unit? R-22 (I may use R-290 or an R-290 based blend)

All I ever find are A frame coils for Central systems <_<

DAMMIT! Why do you Brits get all the realy nice A/Cs!Just lucky I guess :D

I know that you are not part of that other large lump of land to the south but....

I was told years ago that the Americans just 'want cold air' and that they don't care how it gets or how much noise it makes.

Well with our little houses all stuffed next door to each other we don't like to make a noise and upset the neighbours :)
So, we had to have quiet A/C or we wouldn't buy it. And those nice people in the far east crept in the back door and said, "Pssst, you liked the motor bikes, want to try some aircon, going cheap."

Well, that was us - suckered in with no problems :D:D

People here are starting to demand quiet efficient heat pump systems, but still nie impossible to find a nice small scale system thats very advanced <_<.

I started to make a water source system but to find I have no suitable evap or expansion valve <_< So now just need to find that and I'm set! Seems to be more of the style of evap I'm looking for on your end of the pond.

That web page is pretty misleading, Tosh dont sell an inverter low wall/convertible in their domestic range so they should have their butts kicked for being misleading
