Hi all,
Recently tried out a Cornelius iceflaker,500kg production per day.Being Americam built i was under the impression that it would be well engineered.
Having sold and worked on many makes and models i am very disapointed because i found that after 12 months use a gear was stripped in the gearbox. The gear box was dismantled and much to my suprise found that the gear operates in 2 needle bearings and the shaft size is approx 5 mm.
Very under engineered for the job required of it.
Is there anyone out there that has experienced the same?
