I am interested in procuring a HVAC Software for assessing the Air Conditioning Load of Coomercial and Industrial Buildings/Areas. Could some one guide me to a good software.

Thank you,

If I am correct Ishrae Mumbai is working on this to suit Indian Conditions & I was told that there was a meeting recently in Mumbai to try out this software & get experts coments. It should be available very soon. That shall be more appropriate to Indian Conditions

Was another program out there where you could down load the demo. Full version, except they locked the outdoor design conditions to some place in India.

I think I still have it on some old computer at work.

Get the correct latitude, ambient conditions and a program is a program.

I believe this is the one with a demo that defaults to some place in India

Thank you Abby Normal,

I shall try this and if it is helpful, I might go for it. You must have used this, what is your opinion.

I ended up using Elite myself.

I downloaded Comfort Air some time back and then, the default weather data was India. You could not change locations in the demo.

I believe it was somewhere 21 degrees north latitude, with a dry bulb a little higher than I use here, wet bulb a little lower. But pretty close to my conditions.

Perhaps run an old job and compare results.

Elite lets you down load a demo, very limited what you can do with it, but I am happy with the full blown version of CHVAC.

Thank you hamidpia,

But I find Cool Pack is a complete package by itself and has a lot more softwares and features.
