Is the FS10 compressor a variable displacement design or conventional? How does s variable displacement compressor effect gauge readings vs charge?

If its a variable displacement compressor then the only way to charge the system is to weigh it in. The variable displacement mechanism will maintain a normal (within reason) suction pressure even if the system is short, just like an inverter ac system.
