Manitowoc Ice Machine

Model Q600 water cooled 240 volt.
Just tryed to start up my ice machine after a few months being winterized. Compressor runs for about a minute and then shuts down. After a few minutes it will start up and run for another minute and stop again. The ice tray does get cold. Worked perfect and ran great before storing it. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

First off, check your operating pressures during the run time. Clean all the water parts, especially the sensing probe. Is the compressor shutting off from its contactor or is the contactor still energized.

Manitowac has excellent handbooks at a reasonable price which show the circuitry highlighted during the various parts of the operating cycle. I believe you can get them free online for all current models in pdf format.

Found the problem. It is the little things that you sometimes overlook. The discharge cooling water line had a shut off valve in it and the valve was almost closed, This was making the compressor shut down on a safety. Unit works great,
