I was offered the chance to buy a Daikin Transmission Monitor RSUK0919. What equipment was this gadget designed for use with and what is the best advantage in having this when working with faults

Helpful device, buy it!
It works on almost 1/2/3 daikin's terminal and very interesting while checking inverter split / multi.

Make sure that it has been upgraded to suit the current equipment.

We had to upgrade ours recently to get all relevant readings on the new equipment. May not apply to your area though.:)

How did you upgrade the RSUK, it's new on me...
Maybe you have an old one (> 3 years).

Probably now it is about three years old.

To do the upgrade simply pulled it apart and swapped the chip inside, with a new one that was supplied by Daikin.
