I was called out to look into a poor cooling problem on a Mitsubishi PUY200YMF-B cooling only condensor with 7 PLFY-P32 indoor units. 1 works perfectly and 6 units cool for a few minutes then blow ambient air for a few minutes. This is a 2 pipe refnet system with no BC Box. I have cheked the gas charge with Mitsubishi and reclaimed and recharged but there has been no change in performance indoors. Clearly this is not the problem as 1 indoor unit works perfectly. The system was left standing for about a year and I'm suspecting an lev issue, but on 6 units is making me very uncertain. The room temperature is 7 degrees above the set temperature and there are 5 M-Net Controllers. Has anybody come across an issue like this? Why should 6 indoor units modulate in this fashion where each indoor unit has its own lev?
