what do you guys think of having an IRC channel so that members can chat to one another real time , or would this take away from people posting questions. Its just that i have questions sometimes that i feel dont really warrant starting off a new thread:confused:

The forum had a live chat room open for about two years.

I believe that it was used three times only so was closed down to save resources.

Bear in mind that what might seem a 'small or silly' question to you might just be the one that someone, somewhere is just waiting for the answer too.

Odd questions also give rise to more information than was expected as the thread evolves.
