we were having a oil loss problem we went through the mcquay oil loss trouble shooting guide , the last thing we checked was the inlet guide vane o rings they checked ok the only two things left are the low speed shaft seal and the high speed shaft seal , but we do not have any of the special tools if required to proceed further are there any needed to check and or replace these seals and does anyone have a better proceedure on how to check these two seals for the oil loss problem

Did you check the oil cooler? How about the mist eliminaters in the oil pump assembly?

yes we checked the oil cooler for leaks
and we opened the oil assembly to find that there are no mist eliminaters in this pump assembly but we did change the seperator seal while the oil pump was apart

With the McQuay's and Mitsubishi's an oil pressure alarm does not necessarily mean there is an oil problem.

Of course - if you are actually seeing the oil drop in pressure then it possibly is an oil pressure problem. Otherwise I must ask why do you think it is an oil pressure problem?
