Hello
I am a cadet/electrician and i will work in shipping industry on the transportation toys named Reefer.I done my first voyage and i play as much as i can with them.I like this part of the job with taking care of reefers.Anyway for my university last exam to finish it i choosed "Refrigeration Containers" project. They told me that they want a simulator with animations and i want some advices.I want to simulate with animations the Heating circuit or the defrost circuit or just how the container works..I send also emails to Daikin, TK, Carrier.Aboard the ship i worked with Daikin LX10E/1, Starcool, TK (superfreezers also), Carrier.I have full maintenance manuals for them if anyone wants just send me a PM with the mail and exact model or series and i will send you the manuals in PDF format. You guys are very cool.I never thought that i will find such extensive information on this subject.Another question is any book that cover a general reefer maintenance?I know that i will look in manuals for them but i need something more centralized for begginers..

Thank you

Hi badsykes,

Welcome to the RE.

What do you mean 'containers"?
Do you mean goods transporting containers which have refrigeration system on them:confused: ?

Please explain clearly what you need may be someone can help you here.

Hello
Yes containers that transports goods like the one atached.I need to make a simulation for university on their functionality.I got frigosim but is only with money..I don't any freeware simulation that where i can construct myself the refrig system with compresor, Suction modulation valve, tubes, evaporator, receiver etc and make an animation that move the refrigerant from one point to another...
Thanks

I think you need an animation of a referigeration system not simulator which shows the performance. It could be got from google search. good luck:)

Yes...
I feel i am becoming penible with my request... I know how to simulate some networking conditions but simulating a refrigeration circuit is beyond me..
