There are not many good and recent studies on coil performance!
Why not?
There should be plenty. It's a great field of study because there are so many unknowns, especially when there is moisture condensing on an evaporator with boiling refrigerant.
Elmahdy did a PhD at Carlton University, Ottawa, Canada. Subject "analytical and experimental multi-row finned tube heat exchanger performance during cooling and dehumidifying processes".
I would very much like to make contact with this man.
I did try to find him through the university without much luck.
If anyone can make a suggestion it would be much appreciated.
