Hey guys,
Ive got a compressor from a fridge and I need to know what spec it have.
In the label says R12 152w, does this means that this compressor is a 152w at -20c?

And, since R12 is now ilegal, can I use r134 for the compressor?

THe 152W may be the manufactures code., OR how many watts it can consume. But SInce r-12 is no longer produced. You are doing to have to find a good drop in. R-134a will not work unless you have the new oils in it.

Depending on what your going to use that compressor for changes the refridgerant that you should use.

If you need this for something low temperature, i am going to recommend propane (not stuff from the BB-Q, but pure propane)

The compressor was manufactured by Unidad in Spain. The 152w
is probably the compressor power Is there a number like AE1336A or L45AU on it? This would be the model number of the compressor.
