I want to write x squared and have to do x^2.
Is there a way to add square, cubed and some of the common greek letters that we use?
I did try to copy and paste a greek rho for density and got logged off.

I'll take a shot at this.
X2
I simply wrote that out in Word and formatted the 2 so that it was a superscript, which offsets the number 2 to look like an exponent.
Another way might be to use the equation editor in Word, then cut and past it into the thread.

Well... that did not work. let's try the equation editor routine.
Yes there is,
Press Alt key and hold it down, then press 0176 then release the Alt key. you will get °.
0179 you get ³
0178 you get ²
Hope this helps.
Cheers.

When I do alt 0179, I get thrown back to the main page.

OK, I can do it with the Windows character map.

alt + 0178 ²
alt + 0179 ³
it works for me. hold the alt key down while you type 0179, then release the alt key. the square of cube should appear.
