HI!

Can anybody tell me why CVGF chillers (centrifugal type) by Trane resemble McQuay WSC/WDC centrifugal chillers and vice versa.

Thanks for replies.

Regards,

Jacek

Hi,

I'm talking about "outward appearance" of Trane and McQuay. There could be some presumptions:
1. They are manufactured at the same plants.
2. McQuay use Trane's licence.
3. etc., etc...

Regards,

Jacek

Trane and McQuay look alike, but I assure you they are not! The compressors (screw) look alike on the outside, but on the inside they are completly different!

For the scroll's, the danfoss/maneurop compressors were Trane, but they sold the plans/production to Maneurop.

Carel produces the modules used in McQuay and Trane scroll's. Trane uses UCM and Tracer CH530 also produced bij carel on all the new machines.

On the frame point of view, perhaps they copied some views fron each other?
