Hi Guys

Was Wonderin if anyone knows how to get rid of ghosts on a g50. i have 3 systems on a g50 controller and the system is set correctly. on refrigerant monitor it tells you the oc bc and ic address settings . on the bc address setting it has two addreses the old one which was 62 and the new one 70.

it is faulting on 062 detect 000
and also faulting 137 detect 000
the local remote is set right to 37 i think the fact it is faulting 062 is having a knock on effect on this unit.

any ideas i have tried virgin restart.
i have switched off the isolaters to each ic bc and oc and switched them on in that order
any ideas?????

If I read the manual correctly then all you have to do is to check that all the addresses are correct and then power all the units down (control, indoor, outdoor and BC box).
Leave the power off for a minimum of 5 minutes and then turn it back on again.

hi moondawn
you will need to switch off power to the condensor first
flick dip swich number 2 on sw2 on , switch on power to the condensor
wait 5 minutes,
turn off condensor reset dip switch 2 on sw2 back original setting
then power up condensor , that will do you a virgin restart ,
good luck

Hi guys tried virgin restart as instructed . this did not work. spoke to mitsi and

062 detect 000 means its picking up the old address. 000 means the G50 was told to re boot the g50 controller
did so and it corrected the fault
137 was the remote . i checked the remote and the two dials in the remote one was the slightest bit out prob reading 136 which was already taken.

thanks for the help
