Can any one give the link to get the Basic principle and details about fan used in Split Unit

Splits use different types of fan, centrifugal, axial, radial, tangential.

The basic prinicple of a fan is that it rotates, creates a low pressure on it's inlet and discharges the air through it's outlet.

Suggest that you try contacting fan manufacturers for full details of their products.

As Brian said, it rotates and it makes wind. The faster it rotates the more wind and noise it makes :D

Household split unit usullay use axial fan for outdoor part which static pressure is low and indoor part use tangential fan which dynamic pressure is high but efficiency is lower. It's a specilized area need you spend much time to get it.:)

whatever the type of the fan is, it creates negative pressure, then air travells from higher pressure zone towards lower pressure zone, this is the basic principle of the fan working.
