Go into "User CP", click at top of screen, and select "Edit Signature".

That should allow you to check/edit yours.

Also when replying to posts make sure that the "Show your signature" box is ticked.

Sorry Lana, only moderators can have signatures added to their posts.

Person/persons abused it before so that right was taken away.
Although that was a while ago, maybe Webram would reconsider and give it another chance?

Chillin:) :)

Well let me clear this up :)
Everyone has a signature but. Moderators show all the time. Members need to post a "substantial" thread for it to show up.

Ah yes, I remember now.
You have to post a certain number of words before the signature will show. I can't remember what it is though.

Lets just hope that you will post some valuable information soon and be able to see your siggy.

Chillin:) :)

If I have a signature, or a place to add one, I haven't found it.

Being a legend in my own mind, I consider all of my posts to be substantial, albeit many are concise.

Is that fair?? Mr. boss? Everyone should have his/her own signature, like other forums.

WebRam

No I suppose its not fair. But it never used to be like that, the forum had no rules regarding signatures but we found an ever increasing amount of advertising on signatures by spammers. Unfortunatly, this is the fix used by many forums.

Surely there must be a better fix. Allow sigs after one hundred posts or something. After all, without signature lines, Dan Dan would be just... Dan.

Sorry Dan Dan... couldn't resist. :p

:D

I will look into it and ask at the developers site as well.

well I am quite the forum junkie i must be a member of 6 in this field, and this is the only one where the signatures are controlled like George Orwell's Animal Farm.

I agree, I run 8 forums and this is the only one that attracts so amny spammers.

I dont agree with your George Orwell comment though as in Animal farm, that comment would have been removed.

HA ;)

Some animals are more equal than other animals.

Just be done with them then

What's the final verdict on this? I would really like to add a signature.
