Hi All,

I know there is another thread about cap tube selection but hopefully someone might have this info

8ft x 4ft Coldroom (+3c)

Russell Unopak UPR 2H CM (n)
Serial No 980004808
R404

Cap tube blocked. System cooked, compressor still runs but gas stinks. Already had new pot in last couple of years and a new condenser, now the cap tube is blocked.

Whold like to replace instead of changing drier and blowing through. Spoke to Russell, System is too old to have cap tube details on file. Does anyone have the standard spec details anywhere. i know i can cut off and measure length but i am always a bit sus on measuring tools for the cap tube internal diameter

Hopefully someone can help

Regards

Raymond

Why a captube? I would think any box that size would use a TXV.... which is exactly what I would use. TXV, reciever, over sized drier, and oil change. Pop the valve plate off first and see what it looks like in there.
Is this a environmental chamber with Humidity too?
What does "pot" mean?
