Hi Guys, I wanted to find out please what the correct structure is on how to price up an installtoin as a general rule of thumb or the options availabelfor a London based business (bear in mind costs in London are higher than else where)

What I do at the moment is add 25% onto the COST price of the units and materials purchased along with generally £650 for labour per unit.

Is this correct or is there another method/s. Comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks

This is the spread sheet I normally use.

Sorry, just found that I'm not allowed to upload a spread sheet.

If you PM me an email address I will send it to you.

looks standard. generally i do a slightly higher mark-up say 30% on the initial quote then i have breathing room to bring it down and still stay within the 20-25% range - people love to get money off! also being in london i always put parking and the dreaded charge on all my quotes - when people find out how much parking is on top they are quite quick to offer up the md's space that he/she hardly ever uses and parking on site is always a bonus!
