On our M&M system we are able to calibrate sensors when do you use dynamic and when do you static and of course why THANKS

M&M would you please expand your sentence a bit, what does M&M stand for?

Dynamic I suppose means calibrating to the actual temperature measured in the fluid being monitored.

Static could be the original calibration against to upper and lower measurement limits e.g 0°C lower - 100°C upper.

As to why? well that surely doesn't need an answer does it?

Brian thanks, M&M refrigeration is company in maryland the put packages together & they have a large software division in florida. As to why,if you know your dynamic is correct why do you need static or visa versa

If you set the current temperature as correct then how will you know if it is correct at a different temperature if the 'range' has not been set?

If min=0 and max=100 then there are 100 steps in the range.

If min=0 but max=80 then there are only 80 steps in the range.

Set your dynamic at 50 and allow an increase of 10..

With 100 steps then the increase of 10 will make the reading 60 but with only 80 steps the new reading will be 50 + (10 * 80/100) = 58.
