REFCOM tracking database

Hi everyone,

just joined. wondered if anybody has been having trouble with the REFCOM tracking log like me. seems very confusing. is there any other style of recognised database, or will a simple chart do for showing the route of the refrig. from the supplier to us and back?

I assume you are referring to logging the use of refrigerant?

If you are it is in no way complicated.

Your wholesaler will log each bottle of refrigerant you purchase from them. Each bottle has it's own serial number.

You then keep a record of who, where, when and how many kg's of refrigerant you discharge from the bottle.

When it is empty return it to the wholesaler, they log it back in against the serial number.
