[kolab technical]

i am commissioning this chiller, and it is displaying [REPROGRAM TYPE OF REFRIGERANT TO RUN].I've evacuated and recharged with R22 meant for the unit,yet the signal does not disapear and unit not start.Pls help out to reprogram refrigerant type.

Check your dip switch settings, i think it's the first one.

If you press the options button on the micro it will list the programed options in order as they are for the dip switches inside.

You must press "options" button, note the position of refrigerant selected string and operate on the same dipswitch in the main electronic board inside control panel. The two value must match. Look, if this alarm occurred in a used chiller, a memory problem could be present (that's a real damage, try to think at motor current set.....). If group is new and this is the first start up, well... can be !

Dont panic - it doesnt sound terminal. Program settings are held in CMOS memory and as such are backed up by a battery, these batteries have, approx, a 10 year life span, if its failed and the main power is removed from the micro board ALL program settings, including refrigerant type will revert to their default settings, however to get the chiller to operate you will have to be re enter these settings through the program button
