I have had some disturbing news, that a member of this site,jamcool, has passed away and the funeral is today.

I teach a night course here, and one of my students who I believe is also a member of this site, knew jamcool and told me of his passing.

Perhaps his friend will see this thread. It is a situation where to quote Mark Twain, you would hope that "the rumours of my death are greatly exaggerated"

I am sorry to hear of this.

He was a humurous and lively contributor to this forum
Would like to hear more the circumstances surrounding his passing away.

Its always sad when an RE freind goes.

I just knew him from this site, a few PMs, being that we are from the same corner of the world.

His friend who gave me the news, is working on this Island and taking a course I teach. I just thought I would post it as jamcool seemed to be a positve contributer here.

I will post more if I find anything out or his friend may, he is also a member, just that his hanlde escapes me now.

he was last on the forum on the 22nd of December. It would be nice if someone could find out for sure.
