I fitted a new compressor to one of these today and before switching back on gave it a check over as peviously ive managed to pull the room temp probe through the wall when moving the electrics box to make room to work, then wondered why it was taking so long to cool down:rolleyes:
Anyway i found an orange/pink coloured wire cut off and waving about in the evaporator about 4mm from a pipe and STILL wired to the circuit board:eek: N.44 i think. Any clues as to what it did?
Also it had a sight glass fitted? On a capiliary system? They had holesawed through the case so you could see it. Now looks like the capiliary is blocked. Mmm should have walked away before i started;)

Cheers Jon
