Is there any software from which we can measure that how much huge refrigeration unit is required for the room
length n width and all dimesions of that room are given.

Yes, try Coolpack

Hi, Leosangel :)

Try to visit: http://www.luve.it

and see to download program "Refriger 2006" maybe you must send an email to them asking for CD with that program.

Best regards, Josip :)

Leosangel,
Even if you use software, event then you have to know what you need to input in the boxes.
And you must be able to judge if the result is somehow in the region you expected.
Be carefull with software.

Yes there are a number of softwares available for assessing the heat load for the refrigeration plant for a room. But you have to provide the necessary inputs. Merely by knowing the length, breadth and the height will not help. Coolpack is a good software and so is luve. Other than this you can directly download from www.russell.com (http://www.russell.com) and request for a software CD from www.heatcraftrpd.com (http://www.heatcraftrpd.com) . These are also useful selection software. If you visit the web site of Heatcraft as stated above, you can also get a chart for assessing the approximate heat load on the basis of the room dimension. But then that would not help you. For correct assessment you must have the necessary technical datas.

I think that Coolpack is a bit limited.

Only allows 4 walls, roof and floor.
What about freezer room with airlock?
Only 2 products?
No build in calculation for door infiltration.
You also have to enter the heat of respiration.

I suppose for a simple EES macro its not bad, but I wouldnt use it for commercial design.

The original work done by Morten at DTU and publuished in Delphi source code was much better. Pity it was withdrawn.

Hi, nh3simman :)

Not agree, it is unlimited because it is free;) ask other people here....

What is problem with 4 walls, roof and floor:confused: if that room is round/circle it will be only 1 wall;)

Airlock chambers with curtains are normal for industrial cold stores today in use are high speed curtains the lost is minimal...Why we need separate calculation:confused:

It is possible to make calculation for more products but for each product separately, need more time, but...

Calculation for door infiltration for me is no need because we have so many loss due to moving good in and out of freezer - never ever there is a constant load many times less then calculated for room..

There are a lot of tables with heat of respiration values...

I'm not an expert but for me CoolPack is more for industrial use...

I have Daikin software Hi-VRV SELECTION PROGRAM for commercial A/C and it is completely different and not comparative with CoolPack, but you can try this one also free;)

Maybe, but was not compatible with new program and that was reason for withdrawn, who knows;)
