High wall units from Fujitsu 3.5 Kw inverters ( ASY12BL) has any one experience of extending past the usual 15 mtr pipe runs as detailed in the install manuals. We will require 18 mtr piperuns to include a 5 mtr riser per system.

Any views or opinions greatly recieved.

Why not fit Daikin or Mitsi Elec. Inverters, 20m max run in 35 size?

Why not fit Daikin or Mitsi Elec. Inverters, 20m max run in 35 size?

Once agian the customer is king, we have tried to suggest Mitsi but the customer has had bad past experiences with mitsi and cannot be persuaded.

The install entails 15 split units and yes the customer wants Fujitsu and all single splits god knows why.

Tell them that Fujitsu dont recommened going past 15m and they will void the warranty.
(I've spoke to them about this whilst fitting an ASY9, which was 10m max run, my run was about 10.8m, they said 1m extra would be ok but no more):)

I feel that the new fujitsu inverters will go to 20m as there recommended maximum.

they have 2 inverter wall mounts now, the ASYA12LCC & the ASYB12LCC. the B version (plasma) does 20 ms

I cannot show the link here but if you go to fujitsu-general.co.uk

airconditioning

wall mounts and then view brochures its will tell you what you need to know.
