Hi, I have heard about methods of removing acid to prevent compressor burn outs and I was wondering if anyone has heard of qwikshot.

It's supposed to remove the acid from a system without voiding the warrantee. I was thinking of trying it and was wondering if anyone knew what it was about.

Thanks,

kDawg

Quickshot widely available in the UK from NRS.

Its OK but it would be impossible to prove whether it works or not unless you havre two units side by side both burnt out and you use it in one not the other.

I have never used it however on an a/c system, i would normally just change the pot to get fresh oil in there and fit bi-directional drier
