I would like to know the protocol that Wintrac uses to communicate with the thermoking datalogger.

There are probably more than ten different Thermoking dataloggers. They may have different software protocols. All i can really tell you is that the computer with wintrac is hooked up to the logger by the serial rs-232 port without any hardware attached in between (Or an USB adapter nowadays, but that should only simulate a serial port). And there are three wires in use: rxd/txd/com

What are you intending to do with the protocol.
TK have some products like iBox which can handle 3rd party interfaces to save you re inventing the wheel.

Unfortunatly TK copyrighted their protocols a few years ago....this means that you can't legaly use them.....however if you suspect that your serial data is corrupt..you may need to use a 'sniffer' to check the validity of the data :D
