Hi guapo,

I'm not sure I understand what you are looking for. I am assuming the 1-1/4 BI pipe you describe is 1-1/4" carbon steel pipe?

Can you provide some more details please?

Thanks.

Are you asking for the pressure drop over the legnth of the pipe or just the legnth itself  The length is imiterial but pressure drop over a distance is inevatable.
Refrigerant line capacity tables are based on unit pressure drop per metre length of straight pipe or per combination of straight pipe, fittings, and valves with friction drop equivalent to a metre of straight pipe.

Cheers taz.

And, everything changes with various saturated temperatures too.

Dear Guapo

- Serpentine bare pipe as evaporator for boat refrigeration?

- Herringbone bare pipe as evaporator for block ice plant?

- Dx, flooded, pump recirc?

- What is your tevap, td?

- If for herringbone you have to consider velocity of brine passing thru the evap.

You need to provide substantial data so that those who wanted to help can answer correctly.

Its hard to second guess.

Sincerely yours,
winfredy ;)
