Hi

Other than the usual manual balancing valve, are there any other type of (perhaps automatic) liquid flow control or expansion devices that can be used to control ammonia flow rate of forced recirculation (pump) evaporator ?.

Hansen has motorized valve, and Parker/Seimens also has a valve for liquid feeds for NH3, 2 of our plants have these and they seem to work very well. Oh and Danfoss has one also

Can you post some links to these please? I'm not sure I follow how a motorized valve would be used or controlled for a liquid feed/balancing valve for a recirc. evaporator.
