Hi, im new to air-conditioning... i've heard people talk alot about measuring superheat and subcooling etc, and was wondering how and why you need to do this?

Is there a website about to find out all this kind of information without having to annoy all you guys by draggin what to you, is a simple answer?

HI and welcome to the RE forums.

If you do a search on this site for subcooling or superheat you should find a lot of explanations for your reading pleasure.

Unfortunately Iceman our friend doesn't seem to have had time to chase up some of this information since his first question back in early August regarding pressures.

I feel his employer is asking him to run just after he started walking.

Hi Brian,

Yep, you called it right. Just provide the answers, quickly... It must not be worthwhile to spend some time looking through the RE site.

Superheat is one of the first things someone should learn...

I fell for it once, that won't happen again.:(

These files can help but are too big to post here, therefore a link to mega-upload.

In the right corner above the page, you have to fill in some letters or numbers in the box besides it.
This is to prevent that spammers robots get access to this site.
You will then have to wait +/- 45 seconds - you see a countdown timer - and then you can download the file after removing the megaupload link box which will cover sometimes the download button.
