Hello everyone.

I am having a problem with my Candy Iceline FF46/36FF fridge freezer.

Problems:
1) the compressor is switching on/off as normal ( i think )
2) the freezer is -7C but the fridge is +15C

the fridge temp sensor reads 5.72K ohms.

The freezer compartment might be iced up. Switch it off for 24hrs and then try again. If it now starts working the problem is with the defrost system.

Is this the one with the circuit board at the back? or is it in the top ?

Chillin:) :)

CU29321 PCB is on the front of the unit at the top.

Auto Defrost comes on and off and the heater seems to be working.

heater wires have a resistance of 338K ohms

it involves a 12 volt fan and a hole.

Pretty extreme way of fixing the problem, but hey!

I phoned around, and i can collect an 'almost new' fridge/freezer when my mate moves out of his flat.

this is just a temp solution until then.

I am going to cut the hole to the size of the fan, and the fan will be temperature controlled.

Smithy,
Dont know alot about the model u spoke about but that hole that you speak about:D should already be there some are controlled but a stat that just open or closes a flap.Check first if your getting air flow from that already excisting hole:D no sense tossing out a good fridge if it aint bad:o

No holes in the fridge compartment (other than the one i made )

Turns out that the fan is running almost continuously to get the temperature inside the fridge low enough, therefore i have simply left the fan on all of the time.

Freezer should be at least -18C
