smelly coldroom

Hi guys, can anyone help with a sour smelling cold room??, 3m x 3m. system was off all summer, now its fixed and all is clean but room still has a sour smell!.

i suggest using COFFEE beans on a napkin.. works in small domestics but to be fair would need a trip to Costco to solve that one buddy :0)

So long as the room is clean and has no bacteria in it then the smell will go away itself.

Try not to use scented cleaners of air fresheners as this will not help and will only add to the smell.

Steam cleaning would be good.

Hi man , try to stop the system than heat the indoor heat exchanger with a heating blower , I think that it will do the job.

the smell is due to bacteria, thats grow-up when the cool room is left for period of time.
i suggest : wipe all surfaces of the room with antiseptic (like dettol),close the door , leave it for 24 hr. idle
then open the door ventlate the room , operate the compressor
