Hi guy's

we're about to use one of these 7kw as a R22 swap out. Anyone have any experience of doing this and is it really necessary to use a separate inconnect 240/24v ?

You could probably get away with Richard but is it worth the risk if it causes problems ? I also think it generates less wiring mistakes as you definitely do not want 240v down your 24v terminals ;)

We've done a few of the hitachi ones which insist on seperate supplies but we couldn't run new cables so utilised the existing four core and all is well;)

We've fitted some where the indoor has had a seperate supply and some where we've used 5 core. No problems so far.
