I have just noticed an ad. in a sailing mag featuring a marine refrigeration ststem using ' advanced Sterling cooler technology using CO2 and Helium'. The condensing unit? is claimed to weigh less than 20lbs and consume less than 18 amp-hours per day at12VDC (day@12VDC). I manufacture and install marine refrigeration from my workshop in St Maarten and can not offer any system that consumes less than 40 amp/Hr/day,(depending on insulation).Does anyone know where I can access a CO2 comp. that can offer the above performance?

Never heard of a small sterling system offered commercially. Who makes it?
