hi,can anyone help me with my fridge freezer problem?
the freezer is working fine, but the fridge is not!i am retired and the call out fee is to inspect the fridge is £50.
i realise that a charge should be made but i wondered if it was something simple that i could do myself.
it is azanussi model # zfk56/38rf thankyou, johnny dolla.

Hi Johnny, I'm not a specialist in domestic fridges but my brother had a Zanussi similar to yours.
Basically, on his fridge, the freezer did all the work and there was a duct from the freezer into the fridge to convey cold air.
In the duct was a flap that was thermostat operated so that the flow of cold air could be regulated to achieve the fridge temperature setting.
Does your fridge have a duct at the back?

dear real ale, it worked! what had happened was the duct from the freezer to the fridge was blocked by frozen food, but we sorted that out and it seems o.k. now. many thanks for your help, johnny-dolla.
