from what I hear a brain dead monkey can get an EPA cert, so any office and some odd dollars you can get it.

I don't know about a dead monkey, but I passed type I last week, so we have proof a live monkey makes the grade. :D

hy Larry2....is it true that if you want to pass one tipe you have to pass first the core?what about if i pass the core and i failed to other 3 types,next time i have to pass again the core?tks

Hello Mihai. You have to pass the core for all the 608 types. Type I requires the core and type I specialty test. Type I and the core can be taken online.

The other types require that you take the test with supervision. If you have passed type I and the core online and wanted the other certifications, you must repeat the core exam and take the specialty test with supervision. Study hard and you will pass all three without worry about repeating tests. :)

I think various refrigeration supply shops can help you scheduling for a supervised exam.
