What is the general abreviation for microprocessors such as Dixel, Eliwell ----- I've been working in Eilat for the last 20 years and the local term is "Bakar" which is short enough when filling out a service report but doesn't mean a lot to the many English speakers here.
Is there an abreviation for main system online control such as ECI?
I recently encounterd an "Everyday" control from Brazil. When I requested a set-up list they sent one in Portugese. I duly thanked them for their prompt response and asked if they had one in English, They responded immediately with anotherone in Portugese. Fortunately an over enthusiastic cleaner washed said control a few days later so I was able to replace it with an XR 60.
As an "aside" I've found another use for old processors that have "lost" their cooling function but still have defrost. Couple this to a solenoid valve on a sprinkler system for the garden.
