Hitachi Details

[Slim R410a]

I've been asked to commission some Hitachi gear just been installed but building company have gone bust.

Basically just need some details i.e charge weight, refrigerant, additional g/m etc.

I've tried the Hitachi website but its not so good for the sort of info I'm after.

The only details I have;

2No. RAC-3.5HYA
1No. RAC-2.5HYA
1No. RAS-2.5HG7E

I know these are all outdoor units and that the indoors are all 600x600 cassettes.

The R410A models information must be in the office but I found this info on the home computer. I'll have a look for the new stuff tomorrow.

So am I right in saying that the RAS are the R407c Utopia range and the RAC are the R410a 'room' range?

The RAS refers to the indoor unit on the smaller systems. RAC refers to the outdoor unit on the smaller systems and Utopia range.

I did have a Nomenclature list somewhere - now where did I see it

Went yesterday and had an RAC-35YH4 wall mount with half its charge and an RAS-2.5H7GE cassette where some clever person had loosened the flare nut on the comp. suction.
Never worked on Hitachi before but seems good kit:cool:
