Hi Nik, you are very welcome in the forum.

A little more information might be useful before anyone can really answer you question.

What is the product you are trying to chill?

Is it to be a 'cold store' or a 'blast' type chiller.

What sort of size are you looking at?

tq Brain_UK...
actually i still new in this field... tq very much for your advice....

My question is:
A cold sorage room whose inner dimensions are 50m x 30m x 7m is maintained at 6 degree celsius. At any given time,15 people are working in the room and lighting for the facility is provided by 150 light bulbs, each consuming 100W. There also several electric motors in the facility that consume a total of 25kW of electricity.it is estimated that ambient air that enters the room through cracks and openings is equivalent to 0.2 air change per hours. Taking the ambient air temperature to be 20 degree celsius and disregarding any condensation of moisture, determine
(a) the internal load of this cold storage room
(b) the infiltration load , both in kW.
