 Can anyone from Ireland can recommend a good but not too expensive, a holiday place?

For a family of 5
Forests and mountains are required.

Thanks

Chemi:)

Hi Chemi

Why not ask Peter. He had a visit to Ireland some time back :)

Try north Scotland if your looking for mountains, and go visit Northen Ireland while your over here. Only one or two hours on the ferry from Scotland, depending on how far down the coast you drive. Loads of forests and mountains in Scotland and loads of places to see in NI.

3 or 4 years ago i spent a quite pleasant week at Lough Ernie (apologies to the paddies for the incorrect spelling if ive got it wrong ) near Eniskillen in north ireland. there is an airport in belfast for quick access but i took the ferry from hollyhead on anglesey to dublin and drove up. very relaxing even driving as i did not have to maintain 100 mph average running from service call to service call.

stunning scenery, cheap ice cold guiness and very welcoming people.
