Hi sirs
I've engaged in the piston compressor design and manufacturing. It's open type. I know it's not easy :( . Now all we used scroll compressor are from copeland /manurop/sanyo etc. There is no Chinese manufacturer of scroll compressors:) . I don't know how hard it is to build scroll compressor. Is it related to huge capital /patented technology or long time experience accumulation?

Designing a scroll compressor is easy. Designing an energy efficient and reliable scroll compressor is a tough task.

manufacture a good scroll compressor is a much tougher work:)
I agree you on that. I give up the idea to build it :(

I visted twice the Copeland/Welkenraedt plant but you're never allowed in the room where they fabricate the scrolls.
The machines to make it seems own design and are patented (they say!!)
In another live, longh time ago, I did some programming on Mazak/Fanuc machine centers and milling machines.

Personally, I think that it's not that difficult to fabricate a scroll in a 3D machine center. You even don't need a 4D for it.

Yes. I think it's not impossible:) but you need enough money before you can get profit from it. I know the CNC machine can handle it.

Fabricating something is not a problem, but the materials to use is one thing to consider.
