Hi,

Doe's anyone know a calculation for increasing gas quanity when pipe work is lenghtened, The pipes are 1/4 & 1/2" & were extended by 2.5 metres, The gas is 407c.

Hi,

Can you tell us what unit it is on. On an a/c system usually it will say on the data plate what the standard charge is and what pipe run it will go up to and then it will also give you a weight of gas per meter extra if you go over that run.

Hi Raymond,

The unit is a Northstar & requires 1.56g of gas for a 4 metre run but doe's not state what is required per extra metre.
